What’s the difference between a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) and a Registered Dietitian (RD)?
Registered Dietitians (RDs) typically hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in dietetics or nutrition and complete a dietetic internship. They are credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and often work in clinical, hospital, or institutional settings.
Certified Nutrition Specialists (CNS) must earn a master’s or doctoral degree in nutrition or a clinical health field, complete at least 1,000 hours of supervised practice, and pass a rigorous board exam administered by the American Nutrition Association (ANA).
My credentials: I am a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) and hold a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition. I’ve completed over 1,000 supervised clinical hours and specialize in functional, root-cause nutrition approaches to women’s health — including hormone balance, gut health, and adrenal support. The CNS credential is a nationally recognized certification that qualifies me to provide personalized medical nutrition therapy in many states.

Do you only work with people who have PCOS or hormone imbalances?
While I specialize in women’s hormonal health, I also support clients navigating gut health issues, adrenal dysfunction, skin problems (like acne or inflammation), blood sugar balance, and general wellness goals. If you're unsure whether we're a fit, feel free to book a discovery call.
-
Are your services virtual or in person?
All services are 100% virtual. I work with clients across the U.S. via a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform, so you can get support from the comfort of your home.
-
What can I expect from working with you?
I do not accept insurance at this time. However, many clients choose to use HSA/FSA funds. I can also provide superbills upon request for you to submit to your provider.

How long will it take to see results?
Everyone’s body is different. Some clients begin to notice shifts in energy, digestion, or skin within a few weeks, while others with more complex imbalances may take several months. Healing is not linear — but we’ll track your progress every step of the way.
-
Can you help with lab testing?
Yes. I can guide you in interpreting conventional lab work or recommend advanced functional testing (like GI-MAP, DUTCH, or hormone panels) when appropriate. Testing is not required but can provide helpful insight.
-
Do you work with teens or young adults?
Yes — I work with women of all ages, including teens and young adults experiencing early hormonal imbalances, cycle irregularities, skin issues, or stress-related symptoms. A guardian may need to consent depending on age.
